Meet Charley May, our Business Development Representative

My sales journey began at 17, yet my professional sales career began just 18 months ago when I started my first Sales Development Representative (SDR) role within the SaaS industry. I loved the structure of being an SDR as well as the freedom to express yourself whilst prospecting.

Whilst in this role I began to move into prospecting within Recruitment. Immediately I felt I had found my niche, not only was I connecting with way more people, but I was learning so much about the industry from the prospects themselves! I began experimenting more on LinkedIn, and found that my personality was loud and bubbly enough to grab attention within Recruitment.

Globus AI was an opportunity I didn’t expect. It allows me to begin my career within Recruitment with a great platform that sells itself, as well as great mentors, both with over 12 years of experience in the sector. The more I learn about Globus AI the more it amazes me how much easier we can make recruiters lives by automating the matching candidates and shift patterns.  It appealed to me even more to be focusing on the Healthcare sector as my mum is currently a Ward Sister within the NHS.

In my free time I enjoy working on my personal brand ‘Saleswithchar’, reading Harry Potter, and watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S and most Disney movies. I live in Malaga, Spain and I have a fluffy Gloden Lab called Ruby."
